The coming of ageing is not an opt-out journey either for ourselves or for our clients. In fact, – contrary to popular culture – this can become a time we can opt into glorious choices, where we can really tune our soul’s calling and into the beauty and musicality of life and living.
Usually, this requires us – as well as our clients – to dare to dream and to reconfigure the various aspects of our work and lives so that we can get more ease and flow. Understanding this invitation – and its multi layered processes – is key to supporting ourselves as we resource our clients to bridge the unfamiliar and unknown. And we need to do our own inner work to hold this space for others as we embrace our own new horizons as well meet in new and different ways what is lurking in our shadows which may hold us rooted and detached from what our soul now wants for us.
Join us for an exploration about how we can cross the bridge from where we find ourselves now and where and what calls us in later life. This webinar will be interactive, experimental, and fun, and it will offer the opportunity to try out some fresh thinking on this huge topic of what waits us as we move from the structured life of employment or full-time working to a more soulful calling (which may or may not include paid work). We will be sharing some material from our latest programme ‘Bridging the Unknown: from Role Work to Soul Calling in Later Life.’ And we will be using a variety of creative practices, mindfulness, poetry, music, and reflective writing to help you to illuminate the road ahead.
