Program Structure

Upscale Your EQ is designed to equip participants with the tools and knowledge to enhance their emotional intelligence (EQ). By focusing on self-awareness, social awareness, self-management, and relationship management, participants will develop the ability to understand and manage their own emotions and navigate interpersonal relationships effectively.

Main Elements:

    1. Diagnostic (Wiley’s Everything DiSC AgileEQ).
    2. Three One-on-One Executive Coaching Sessions.
    3. Interactive group training.

Diagnostic Assessment: Everything DiSC AgileEQ

  • Participants will complete an online assessment to gain insights into their EQ strengths, and areas for development.
  • A personalized report will be provided to each participant.

One-on-One Coaching Sessions (3 Sessions)

Coaching Session 1: Self-Awareness and Goal Setting

  • Deepening self-awareness: Exploring the participant’s Everything DiSC Agile EQ profile in more detail.
  • Identifying EQ strengths and development areas: Pinpointing areas for improvement based on the assessment and self-reflection.
  • Setting goals: Establishing clear and achievable goals for EQ development.
  • Creating an action plan: Developing strategies to address identified development areas.

Coaching Session 2: Overcoming Challenges and Building Resilience

  • Addressing EQ challenges: Discussing specific obstacles the participant is facing.
  • Developing coping mechanisms: Exploring strategies for managing stress and negative emotions.
  • Building resilience: Enhancing the ability to bounce back from setbacks.
  • Measuring progress: Evaluating the effectiveness of the action plan and making adjustments as needed.

Coaching Session 3: Sustaining EQ Growth and Leadership Impact

  • Integrating EQ into daily life: Incorporating EQ practices into work and personal life.
  • Becoming an EQ champion: Sharing EQ knowledge and inspiring others.
  • Measuring long-term impact: Assessing the overall impact of the program on the participant’s life and career.
  • Creating a vision for future growth: Developing a plan for continued EQ development beyond the coaching sessions.

Note: These coaching sessions should be tailored to the individual needs and goals of each participant. The coach should use active listening, questioning, and supportive techniques to facilitate growth and development.

Interactive training (24 hrs)

Thematic Areas

  • Social Awareness: Perceiving and understanding the emotions of others, building empathy, and developing strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Self-Management: Managing emotions, controlling impulses, and adapting to change.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships, inspiring and influencing others, and managing conflict effectively.

 

Training Methodology

  • Everything DiSC Agile EQ Assessment: Participants will complete the Everything DiSC Agile EQ assessment to gain insights into their EQ strengths and development areas.
  • Experiential Learning: Role-plays, simulations, and case studies to apply EQ concepts to real-life situations.
  • Interactive Workshops: Engaging discussions, group activities, and presentations to foster learning and collaboration.
  • Individual Coaching: Personalized support to address specific EQ challenges and goals.
  • Action Learning Projects: Practical application of learned skills through on-the-job projects.

Diagnostic

 Time investment: 15 minutes

Typically, a questionnaire takes around 10-15 minutes to complete.

However, this time can vary depending on:

 * Individual pace: People process information at different speeds.

 * Level of introspection: The more time you spend considering your responses, the longer it will take.

It’s important to note that while there’s no strict time limit, answering questions quickly and honestly is generally recommended for the most accurate results.

 

Coaching

Time investment: 3 hours

Three hours in total, although it is recommended that you will give some time to prepare between the sessions.

 

Interactive group training

 Time investment: 24 hours

Training will be delivered in groups, online, in 8 x 3 hrs sessions.
